Some charts showing approximations of daily paper gold turnover in the various global markets to put them in perspective.
The first chart shows LBMA Clearing Statistics plus exchange volumes & open interest converted to tonnes vs new mine supply.
The second chart shows all the totals above (less Comex volumes) vs new mine supply.
The third chart shows the same as the first but with the LBMA Clearing Statistics changed to Loco London Turnover which is approx 10 times the size.
The fourth chart shows all the totals above (less Comex Volumes) vs new mine supply.
The fifth chart shows Loco London Turnover & London Clearing statistics annualised vs all the known physical gold ever mined.
