President Trump, in his inaugural address or soon after he takes office, has an extraordinary opportunity to seize control of the government and put the nation and the world on a proven path to a more prosperous and peaceful future by declaring (in substance):

We will make America great again with what made America great in the first place: a constitutional dollar as good as gold. We will restore to the people the use and benefits of sound, stable money, credibly defined with reference to a weight of gold, as required by the Constitution.
