WGC wants India to put idle gold stock to use

Indian households have an estimated 22,000 tonnes to 25,000 tonnes of gold.
Asking the world's second largest gold consumer to put its gold to use, the World Gold Council (WGC) has suggested that India should aim at becoming the "jeweller to the world".
