To be sure count, ANZ Research a gold bull with a $1,400/oz+ forecast on the price of gold in 2016 and beyond. That’s more bullish than many a house of analysts.

But in the near term – the coming few months – ANZ analysts argue a decidedly bearish outlook: For gold to drop to around $1,100/oz on the back of a strong dollar.
