Russian Jan-June gold output up 10.5% y/y to 135.33 T

Gold production in Russia rose 10.5% in the first six months of 2019 to 135.33 tonnes from 122.50 tonnes in the same period a year earlier, Russia’s finance ministry said on Tuesday.
Production included 110.53 tonnes of mined gold, against 98.67 tonnes a year ago, the ministry said.
Silver production was down 9.9% year on year, slipping to 457.45 tonnes from 507.65 tonnes.
